We’ve now lived in Madrid for three months, and it feels like forever and no time at all. About a week and a half ago, we received all the furniture we shipped over from Seattle. The relief associated with settling into our new home has been astronomical.
This past weekend, I set up my home office. As a distributed worker, I like having a mix of places to work, and split my time between coffee shops, a coworking space, and home. It’s like my trifecta of work environments. Having my home office set up boosted my productivity levels by a distinctly noticeable amount, which was timely as I needed to put together a presentation for my upcoming talk at WordCamp Boston.
I’m particularly thrilled by this delightful little corner of my office. Will there be more Wapuus and plants in my office in the weeks to come? Highly likely.
